These best of mixtapes that I do really started when I made The Best of Kanye West in January 2011. That experience was kind of precious for me because it got my feet wet but mainly because it was one of the most talented artists I like. If that was precious, then how precious would it be to do a best of MJ, the king of pop, the moonwalker, you know who he is. Hell, every country in the world knows who he is.
Happy Birthday Tupac! Here’s a tape I definitely did for his fans. I’ve put a pretty exhausting schedule on myself for the next few weeks, so this is my first tape without a signature M-Rock intro, just because time’s an issue for June. Expect a really big tribute next week, hopefully my biggest yet.
I’m pleased to drop this brand new Best of Biggie for all his fans. On top of that, I’m happy I made the march 9th death anniversary deadline. Long story short, I was working on another Valentine’s tape because the first was so well-received, and then Cabbie said I should really do a March 9th BIG tape. It made sense because it’s been long overdue and the timing. That was it, my RNB tape had to get pushed back.
Producer / Songwriter J.Bonkaz teams up with Junior Mafia’s Lil Cease to bring you a classic mixtape of Legendary rap icon, Christopher Wallace’s best songs. This mixtape has 43 tracks and original never released music along with original production from J.Bonkaz and Kix Kreative (Mike Sal).
For years I’ve said to myself I should do a little something and pay homage to the big man whom I found so inspirational, so this year *2012* I did.
JULY 17, 2011 MARKS THE 50TH BIRTHDAY OF KEITH “GURU” ELAM…..
