Philadelphia fast-riser Gilbere Forte’ has joined forces with The DJBooth to bring listeners his latest street release, the YOTD: Year of the Dragon mixtape. Dallas based SP1200 producer Gensu Dean is preparing to release his debut album “Lo-Fi Fingahz” February 28th on Mello Music Group. To introduce Dean, the razor sharp DJ Chief-One has put together a dope mixtape of Dean’s production including work with Sadat X, Crooked Lettaz, and Large Professor.

Sacramento emcee Chuuwee and Raleigh rapper/producer Sundown (of Actual Proof) have joined forces with The DJBooth and The NQM to bring fans their collaborative mixtape debut, The Millennium Falcon. Recorded over the course of 11 days, the project features 12 original records from the underground buzzmakers. Included on the tracklist is reader-approved leak “Carbonite.” Joining Sundown and Chuuwee on the guest tip throughout The Millennium Falcon are Intalek, Thee Tom Hardy, Sean Boog, Carbin, Drique London, Keno, Big Remo, GQ and HaLo. All production comes courtesy of Sundown.

Finishing their three month Europe Tour the Stereo Boyz start 2012 with “Guten Tag!”, a tape mixedby the legendary Dj Jesaya from Switzerland.
Featuring the song and video “Tour to Europ” the Stereo Boyz express their feelings about being overseas for the first time and the mixtape is a showcase of music that got them there and songs they performed on stages all across France, Germany and Switzerland.
Not only Dj Jesaya lend cuts for the tape but also fellow Detroiters Dj Soko of The Left and Dj Prime Minister. With Mixo’s Father on the vocals of “From Ex to Best Friend” and Jon C (featured on J.Dilla’s “The Rebirth” project) this tape offers a variety of great talent, up tempo as well as soulful songs and of course the signature Stereo Boyz sound, which Germany’s legendary Dj Mad (Absolute Beginner) called “a breath of fresh air”.
