I’m pleased to drop this brand new Best of Biggie for all his fans. On top of that, I’m happy I made the march 9th death anniversary deadline. Long story short, I was working on another Valentine’s tape because the first was so well-received, and then Cabbie said I should really do a March 9th BIG tape. It made sense because it’s been long overdue and the timing. That was it, my RNB tape had to get pushed back.

Free Mixtape: DIAZ MILLENIA – Immortal Music
He’s here yet again with another timely album/mix-tape for all of the true hip hop heads out there. Following up from the collective group album “UNIFIED” from his production team BeatKnock’Az International, Diaz Millenia is dropping some versatility with his style of beats on his new project which is titled “Immortal Music.” The feel of this mix-tape is just not boom bap, some of the sounds are extraordinary with heavy bass grooves, synths, percussions and an array of old school 70’s rock drums to give a more retro sound. He purposely made these types of tracks displays his diversity in style when constructing a track.
He also sought out to combine the right artist with the right track to compose a great hip hop song. This time around, Diaz did not choose the A/B-list celebrity artists for this particular project, rather he wanted to show from West to East, South to North, that he collaborates with a team of underground MC’s that are very gifted with writing songs, and present very unique delivery and cadences, which is somewhat missing from today’s music. Not to mention that a HUGE part of this project was narrated by the scratching hands of his fellow Beat Knock’n member, French producer & DJ, A Little Rooster, who put his finishing touches on the mix tape to actually make it sound like a TRUE MIX TAPE!

Free Mixtape: Mr. Owl – ‘Consumers Become Producers’
As paradoxical as it sounds, artists might be the ultimate consumers: sponges on a reconnaissance mission to absorb what they will later wring into the bucket of their chosen craft – the resulting alchemy thus becoming the artist’s own creation. On “Consumers Become Producers”, Pittsburgh’s Mr. Owl has soaked up and seamlessly blended some of today’s most cutting-edge independent music into which poet/MC Jack Wilson regurgitates his own slop of socially-conscious wit and sharp hip-hop influenced wordplay to produce a groundbreaking mix of everything Owl and Wilson represent as creative consumers. Digest accordingly.
