EvidenceWhile in NYC, we sat down with Evidence of Dilated Peoples and talked about his new album, Cats & Dogs, out now, what’s it like working with Alchemist, what he feels about albums leaking early and how Jay-Z & Kanye West were able to buck that trend, his take on the new crop of Westcoast emcees like Tyler, The Creator, Kendrick Lamar and Fashawn, who he actually thinks is the dopest of the new crop as well as his take on how the shift from gangsta rap to more down to earth rap. He then gives us an update on the next Dilated Peoples album “Directors of Photography”, what’s like being a dope emcee and producer and if the emcee in him conflicts with the producer in him. He then ends the interview by speaking on why he feels like Rhymesayers is the best indie label in Hip Hop.

Today I have for you part 2 of my interview with Kendrick Lamar. In the first segment of my interview we discussed his debut album, new work with 9th Wonder and the vices of the music industry.

In our second take of our personal, in-depth interview Kendrick speaks on his relationship with God, he shares with us what is to come of Black Hippy, and gives us his definition of Hip-Hop.
