Illmaculate goes shopping for a new chain on this two-part single inspired by his upcoming title match against Pat Stay at KOTD’s World Domination 5 event. Part one finds the Portland emcee warming up with some other worldly bars before narrowing in on his new opponent. By the time he mentions any names, Illmaculate has already scorched the battle field.
Part two begins with Illmac stumbling upon a recent name drop by UK battle rapper Shotty Horroh. What follows is a whirlwind of ass-kicking, and while it’s mostly directed at Shotty, it’s clear that anybody can get swept up.

Stream: Illmaculate – Trainspotting
While Illmaculate might see music as a trivial obsession, he is currently proving how important his voice is beyond the track. The Portland emcee has been making local headlines since Saturday night, when he refused to perform at his own show after swarms of Police arrived at the venue and disrupted the positive, peaceful atmosphere. For Portland hip hop fans this was just another example of the city actively resisting any shred of urban culture, but for Illmaculate it was the final straw. Illmaculate will be speaking with a spokesperson for the Portland Police Department today on OPB’s Think Out Loud radio show to discuss this issue and hopefully work towards a solution. In the meantime, he has released a brand new single from his upcoming Clay Pigeons LP; the Chase Moore produced Trainspotting.
