Baltimore S.O.N. (Shinning Over Negativity) is a member of the GROWNMAN Hip Hop Group which got their start in Tokyo, Japan in 2004. GROWNMAN would open the door for other U.S. unsigned Hip Hop Groups to perform at venues throughout Japan at a time when that was unheard of. GROWNMAN garnered a massive following abroad that is continuing to grow. Each member is now working on solo projects with a 3rd GROWNMAN album in the works. The Baltimore S.O.N. is currently getting close to the finishing stages of his solo “HisStory THe Audiobiography of Baltimore S.O.N.” project. He has constantly been told that he doesn’t sound like the typical Baltimore rapper. His response to that is, “I’m not a rapper, I’m an EMCEE”.
