Scott Ramirez presents his first full length album, Monte Cristo. Taking inspiration from an Ol’ Dirty Bastard rhyme & the novel by Alexander Dumas, this is a 12 track journal chronicling late smokey nights, self-therapy in between jobs, the daily grind for paper & intoxicated meditations on the pursuit of the good life.

With production handled by Justunlimited, ELMNT, Don Know & DJ TooM; collaborative features with HuNu, Rez Raida, Jaff Daniels, Colonel Clockwork & Lord Fury; Monte Cristo is a dusty journey forged from hallowed rap traditions & a forward guerrilla focus over breakbeats & 808s.

Emcee/Producer James “Big Lo” Lopez released his fifth studio album, “Umbrellas & Green Olives”. The twelve track album also includes features from Chaundon, Tommy 2 Face, Inferno, Stess the Emcee, Backback Beatz, Cyborganics, Junky Goods, Ardamus and Chelsae Davis. All of the record cuts are by DJ Fumo and additional production is provided by Inferno, DaShin, DJ Sadhu, One Tone, and Grizzly. All of the tracks were mixed by Big Lo and mastered by Ryan Foster.

J-Live is known for being a triple threat consisting of equal parts, emcee, deejay and producer. On his previous albums, he’s famously collaborated with some of the best in the business, like DJ Premiere, Diamond D, Prince Paul, Oddisee, Pete Rock, Jazzy Jeff, RJD2, Nicolay, DJ Spinna and many more. On the aptly titled “His Own Self”, the live one has opted to go the self produced route for the entire project for the first time since cutting his teeth with the “Always Will Be” EP of 2003.
