The Alpha Male Society (AMSoc) brand is rapidly becoming synonymous with two things: Outstanding NC hip hop, and the many variations of “A” fitted caps used to rep the team during stage performances. With the first single from their upcoming May 20th release “Background Check 2”, AMSoc members, Diablo Archer, H2OKZ, and Mallz enlist the services of fellow NC emcee Thee Tom Hardy and producer Leland Jones for the aptly titled “AontheFitted” (find links below to access tracks via bandcamp).
Video: Duk Duk Goose – WILDOUT!
“Wildout” features collaborations with a slew of carnival/circus performers, ranging from fire-breathers and burlesque dancers to stilt jugglers and a flame-breathing saxophone.
The video is shot at what Duk Duk Goose does best: A wild Brooklyn warehouse party, with stunning visuals shot/edited by Eat the Cake NYC (Brooklyn Wildlife) and 95Labs. The song features production by Downtown Music.

Video: Malkovich – Lies
Irangeles (Iran/Los Angeles) lyricist Malkovich presents the Hashim Thomas-directed music video for “Lies”, his Evilldewer-produced single from his new album Great Expectations, written and recorded in New York City, New Orleans, Atlanta and Los Angeles after giving up his home and possessions to travel indefinitely. Expectations is the followup to his Ayatollah Presley mixtape hosted by deejay/producer House Shoes, and videos to two Expectations tracks – “What I Know” and “Palms” have already been released. “Malkovich fits into a niche being carved out by a new breed of rappers.” says Earbits.com, while Audiocred.com says “Showing a rare maturation most emcees never attain.” DJ Premier played the Great Expectations cut “Bedbugs” on the January 18 edition of his Live From Headqcourterz mixshow. Great Expectations is available on his Bandcamp page as a free download for a limited time.
