Abstract Rude (ATU/Mass Men/Haiku d’etat) never left, yet still, he returns refreshed & poised to Keep The Feel with two latest singles from his forthcoming new lp. This veteran from LA Underground, The Goodlife/Project Blowed & Rhymesayers notoriety, maintains his affiliation with each crew & their combined legacy of hip-hop soul. Since his ’09 Rhymesayers debut Rejuvenation, and 2013 EP on Fifth Element The Awful Truth (w/Musab), Ab has been busy crafting this homegrown “feel record” as he calls it.
This month (June 5th) Abstract Rude leaked the 2nd single & dropped the music video for “I Lived In A Time” available as a free download for a limited time. The DJ Remode produced track features a heavy bassline w/good ole fashion ASR10 work on display, providing a comfortable bed for Ab Rude’s voice & homage paying lyrics at his poignant best.
Abstract Rude says he plans to drop singles w/dope visuals all summer, then release Keep The Feel: a legacy of hip-hop soul this Fall 2014.
