losLAUREN 718 is a Bronx native and FAMU alumni who has been putting in work for years. He has been consistent with his music releases, typically dropping a new video each month and a full release annually. This year appears to be no different as he returns with another music video to kick off the new year, “Killing Myself.”
“Killing Myself” is a video about addiction. It is a known fact that many people throughout the world struggle with addiction and substance abuse issues. When asked about the video, the content of the music, the Bronx rapper stated the following. “I just wanted to bring awareness to the topic at hand. Well-known rappers such as Mac Miller, DMX, Juice WRLD, ODB and Big Scarr have died because of addiction. It is not just the rappers though! You have actors, athletes and even family members who battle this demon. I’m just trying to do my part.”
