The official tribute for Phife Dawg, beloved founding member of A Tribe Called Quest, was held last night at the Apollo in New York City. Many artists came out to show their love to one of the most important Hip Hop artists of our time, amongst them D’Angelo, Busta Rhymes, LL Cool J, Kanye West, KRS-One, Chuck D and others.

André 3000 took to the stage to talk about how heavy of an influence ATCQ were on his development as an MC and Outkast as a group. He also shared the news that in 2015 there had been talks of a collaborative album by Outkast and ATCQ.
