“Sometimes, I need an escape.  Feeling like a super zero, I’m just needing a date. I could be a super hero, I’m just needing a cape”, are some lines from “What is This” by Ang P.  His new project Vibes and Dreams, is a stellar project from the Olympia, Washington native.  It’s an album loaded with lush electric pianos and smooth basslines on the production due to the production staff ( Know Life, Eddie Venom, Page Turner, and DJ Semaj).  On the lyricism end, Ang has a  large array of topics on this project.  The standout cut “Victory” featuring Nino Bless they threw the concepts to the side and decided to do what a lot of rappers don’t do today:  rap.  “You can have it back when I’m finished.  But, nope I ain’t finished.  I just let ’em tie the rope.  Then the chair I’m a kick it.”  Nino Bless follows up with some bars of his own.  “I don’t laid my footprints down in the dirt, and you still couldn’t fit in these shoes.” Other standout cuts are “Dreams”, “Garden of Eden”, “Better Way”, and “Nothing’s Promised”.  With more projects like this, Ang is well on his way to giving more shine to himself, and his state.
