98 is a collaborative effort of royceBIRTH, Casino Costa, L*Roneous, and Pace Won, and is a sick tribute to 90’s hip hop and sounds like like lots of different 90’s rapper styles rolled into one tune. So if you appreciate old school hip hop like me, you’ll enjoy this dope track.

His third and newest album, Art On Fire!!, displays a true visionary at work by turning instruments upside down, flipping soul samples into full-driven punk records, and taking music into an unexplored territory yet to be heard. This is an album where passion is shown in the work through compositions that took nearly ten years in the making.
Instead of displaying his signature boom bap style, royceBIRTH takes the opposite route by providing a warm lo-fi sound reminiscent of a raw garage demo. Whether it is the celebratory lead single “Live On”, the rebellious punk feel of “Abandon U”, the psychedelic “Let It Bleed”, or the soulful love song “Kismet”, this album is more than music. It is an artistic statement.
Continuing the soulful vibes, royceBIRTH releases the EP, “#1SoulBrother”(title track taken from the full length album Caesar Is Home). On the title cut, Royce gets busy over a dusty break beat that will give you visions of hip hop in the park. On another level of soul, Royce delivers 2 new joints. The Dilla-esque love song “Wait a Minute”, and the reggae tinged “Momma Prayin”. Enjoy the listening experience.
