A small city, big dreamer can describe Ron Beatty in simple wording. His hometown New Bern, N.C. may have been distant from the world’s radar, but his plans to reform music would soon be colossal. Music would provide a way towards freedom, or maybe even a chance to reform and shape his own realities. Pursuing a career in music only lasted a short while as a dream before his moves led him to founding mentors Noland Hicks & All-Terrain Music’s own Nervous Reck & Bobwire, who also assisted in the career launch of Roc Nation’s rap artist, J. Cole. After school at Winston-Salem State University, he reached back home for a definitive sound. His EP, The Empty Theater dropped and things have been on the rise ever since. With bold lyricism, authentic southern rap, and relevant issues being the forefront of his music, Ron Beatty plans to face the truths of a forever changing world. Now in Atlanta, GA he plans to seize exactly what it is he’s searching for. An opportunity. Not just an entry, but a clear definition to a legacy that’s already been written. He’s here to Manifest Destiny. And bring light to everything dark and unclear. Introducing Ron Beatty.
