Free Mp3: Fearce & BeanOne (of Dyme Def) – “That Aint Hip Hop???”

Although Seattle’s Dyme Def hasn’t released new music since last December’s full length release of Yuk The World, group members Fearce & BeanOne have been steadily dropping new material, which include their mixtape There Goes The Neighborhood, in addition to several leaks, as well as a hail of videos for their songs “Let It Be,” “I Want It All,” and “Bully,” the latter of which shed’s light on the international epidemic. For the duo’s latest leak “That Aint Hip Hop???,” Fearce challenges your right to judge what is or is not Hip-Hop over BeanOne’s moving guitar loops and boom-bap percussion. This song has not been tied to any forthcoming projects, however you can rest assured that more material is underway.

“What a feelin’ to be a villain, I’ll burn your village/ Give music to your children, give ‘em a choice to have a voice if they’re willin’/ I see right through you blogs that think you have an opinion, sayin’ what Hip-Hop isn’t, when really you never lived it…”

New Video: Fearce & BeanOne – “Bully”

In recent years, bullying has become an international epidemic that’s been coupled with a devastating rise in suicide by those victimized by their antagonizers. The issue has become subject to intense scrutiny by the media, where we’ve learned that Bullying is not blind to gender, race, or age, as exemplified in the recent case of Karen Klein, the bus monitor. For the latest set of visuals by Seattle’s Fearce & BeanOne (of Dyme Def), the emcee/producer duo shed light on the issue by painting a picture of the physical and emotional hardship of a bullied student who feels that his only way out is by taking his own life. Through this video, Fearce and Bean hope that those suffering from the hands of a bully, may utilize the resources available to help them get through what may otherwise feel like a dead end. “Bully” is now available for purchase, via iTunes.

New VIdeo: Fearce & BeanOne (of Dyme Def) – “I Want It All”

After dropping their free release There Goes The Neighborhood a couple weeks back, Seattle’s Fearce & BeanOne (of Dyme Def) waste no time in getting new material to the masses, as the duo drops the visuals for their new song “I Want It All.” Shot and edited by BeanOne, the video depicts Fearce on his BMX, cruising around various Seattle neighborhood’s as he divulges his version of the American dream. “I’m not asking for much, just a little fame/ what’s wrong with wanting the crowd to scream your name/ what’s wrong with wanting a big house, a swimming pool full of money for whenever there’s a big drought” …absolutely nothing. Although this song was not previously featured on There Goes The Neighborhood, the MP3 has been bundled back into the link, so be sure to download. #YukThe World
