My name’s Dante Savage, I’m a Portland, OR native. “Vhibes” is my second single, and it’s quite a lot better than my last one. I listen to mostly golden era hip-hop, and I think you can hear that influence in my music. There’s usually some meaning behind my songs, and with “Vhibes” I bit off the De La Soul beat from “The Bizness” and rapped about the music industry from my perspective, as an independent artist with no shine, but a promising future. Seeing as there’s never really been a standout hip-hop artist from Portland, I’m trying to put the city on the map, because there’s a lot of dope music to be heard of all genres.
