Baltimore rapper DRAG teams up with West coast duo Audio Push on the new record “One Time”, produced by Street Scott (has produced for Dipset, Max B, Mr. MFN eXquire) from DRAG’s upcoming album “BILLIONS”.

When it comes to the DMV area, it’s not that many names that come up when it comes to hip hop (outside of the Neptunes, Timbaland, and Missy).  Outside of that circle of artist, you don’t really hear much about the dope artist coming out of that area.  This is another reason which makes “One Time” by Drag so savage a song.  Street Scott provides the track laden with synths and a sinister choir, Drag goes in with lines like “One time for this track though.  A plus for this crack flow. T-A-G. Olympic Gold, like Mike Phelps with his back stroke.  Made a rack here, a rack there, but don’t ask me where them racks go. . .One time for this wardrobe.  Can I not be more froze?”.  Audio Push closes the song with “Why was I stuck in the same place?  Me and my pops got the same face. So they think I’m gonna end up the same way.  Listen, we both running in the same race.  No Usain Bolt, we swimming from the same boat, we just ain’t at the same pace.”

This track and artist should quickly develop a following.  If the “Billions” album is half as good as “One Time”, then Drag will be around for a long time and could change the sound and culture of the DMV area.
