Defcee of Filth? Records links up with August Fanon, the prolific producer behind Westside Gunn, Armand Hammer and Mach-Hommy. They deliver a project that’s partially an autobiographical coming of age story with a nod to writers (graffiti and rhyme). Heavily inspired by the Style Wars film, each song is titled after a graffiti piece in the movie and brought together to form a poem on it’s own. Album drops June 4th. Preorders are live as of May 7th.
Vinyl, CD and digital options are available. The vinyl release has the ultra limited “Writers Edition” which features a black book with a hand-written verse from Defcee, throw up stickers and a signed copy of the album.
Defcee continues his campaign to hit your ears. Early last month he dropped ceenick (Deluxe Edition) with Nick Arcade. Later this year Defcee will be releasing a project with Messiah Musik on Backwoodz Studioz. It will feature billy woods and others. Get familiar!
