
Bronx-born AMPHBN, Khalil D’Jamaal, has just released the video for ‘New York City Minute’, the 3rd single from the AMPHBNS debut “AMPHBNS Vol.1: The Breathe Album” released late last year.
‘New York City Minute’ is Khalil’s raw analysis of the city’s penchant for pain and influence that seems to resonate in every city he’s lived in, from NYC to the DMV. Produced by Trevor Goodchilde with a hard blend of programming and live instrumentation, Khalil recounts distinct
memories of the Big Apple through regional dialect of his youth and a certain attitude that is summed up in the chorus “In a NYC minute you could get shot, stabbed or beat…”
