“The Great Fallback” is a 5-song EP that tells colorful short-stories over a soulful, jazzy backdrop. With a balance between reality, spirituality and comedy, Crimson’s lyricism works perfectly with Rolled’s obscure selection of samples. For fans of MF Doom, Ghostface, Roc Marciano & Earl Sweatshirt.
This album was made by two southwestern philadelphian soulful brothers on their respective fallback leans, on the calm. Rolled Gold Beats and Uncle Crimson met on the Five Deuce and combined the efforts of Gold’s soulful beats and engineering with Crim’s visual art and colorful raps to make this EP.

About Rolled Gold & Uncle Crimson
Uncle Crimson and Rolled Gold, both 24 years old and from Philadelphia, met in 2015 and started creating songs almost right away. After Crimson’s appearance on Rolled Gold’s “Salty” EP of early 2016, they decided to put together a quick EP, which pretty much fell into place and got recorded in one Saturday afternoon. Both being multi-talented artists, they plan to use their extra skills of visual art, stand up comedy, live instrumentation and composition to make their following work and live show even more unique and meaningful.
