As Greg Grease readies the delivery of Cornbread, Pearl & G on December 11th he gives us the first single from the project with the new joint “C.R.E.A.M. Dreams.” Greg has been working tirelessly on the full-length while at the same time delivering new and original Hip Hop with his Cornbreads Coming series leading up to the release of Cornbread, Pearl & G.
As the first single “C.R.E.A.M. Dreams” sets the mood for what to expect from the upcoming project. Greg’s rhymes and delivery are on point, as usual, taking us on a journey through his thoughts set to a dope backdrop he produced himself along with Mike Frey.
Be on the lookout for the video adaptation to “C.R.E.A.M. Dreams” dropping before Cornbread, Pearl & G drops.
Greg Grease on “C.R.E.A.M. Dreams”:
“C.R.E.A.M. Dreams” is based on internal conflicts, which the album is kinda based on so I thought it would be a good representation of Cornbread, Pearl & G to start out with. Throughout my life I’ve always been taught the importance of money but always hated it, always wanted things but didn’t appreciate the money value system. As I’ve gotten older I’ve realized its importance but still despise it. It’s definitely a love hate relationship that, an ongoing battle for me. I actually wrote this song while falling asleep, when I fell asleep I would wake up and bars would be written, it pretty much wrote itself. It was pretty bizarre haha!”
