Being at that same street corner where Biggie Smalls was shot and killed sparked the creative juices for Definit to pay homage to one of the greatest rappers in hip hop history. It was 15 years ago that we lost a powerful poet in music. His words and his message is still heard around the world and his legacy remains. Through this new mixtape, DJ Definit takes us on a musical timeline through some choice selections from the Notorious B.I.G.’s immense catalog. Focusing on some of the songs where B.I.G. rapped about suicide and death and even premonitions of his own demise. DJ Definit takes us through a musical journey beginning with these early records and ending with some of Biggie’s last records where he seemed to know his end was near and accepted it. To place the icing on the cake, Definit mixes in some of the original samples used on these classic records. The mixtape is complete, creative and follows a natural musical flow and path. DJ Definit blessed us with a great mix we can remember and celebrate the Notorious B.I.G.’s life and music with
