Friends With The Help are DJ K-Rec and vocalists Low Lux and Young Nige. The trio, based out of East Vancouver, BC, are known for having creative videos, classic production, and a blazing stage presence.
The music video for “As The Light Hits You” follows a young boy exploring an empty world with only a pair of MC’s in his headphones for company. See innocence and desolation walk hand-in-hand through this beautiful depiction of life, death, and loneliness. The video was directed by Jem Garrard and Greg Crompton with animations by Tamsin Baker.
