With the group’s sophomore album, Sex Tape, released last year, Seattle trio Dyme Def, comprised of rappersFearce, Sev, andBrainstorm, continue to bring new music to the masses, this time with a brand new video for“Timeless.” In keeping with the Sex Tape theme — the group’s debut video from the album, for the song “Do Something,” featured porn star Gianna Michaels — this latest video features the talents of model and exotic dancer Brooklyn Murphy. While generally less provocative than “Do Something,” save for a pretty juicy shower scene during the track’s third verse, the black and white video showcases an understated and sophisticated sexy that fits well with the song’s theme – and with the song’s beat, provided by regular group producer Bean One, who combines a four-to-the-floor beat, backed by dripping synths, vocal samples, pianos, strings, and a hi-hat that brings forth imagery of seconds ticking by on a clock. Paired with an amazingly infectious chorus, the V. Hobbs & Niko P. directed video offers fans another outstanding visual from Sex Tape.
